This Month’s reads - September
I unfortunately did not hit my monthly reading goal in the month of September due to us traveling to Greece for 2 weeks. I however did get to squeeze in 3 great books in the mists of all the travel chaos, Thanks to 22 hour travel days!
Book #1: ‘Ugly Love’ by Colleen Hoover
This is the second Colleen Hoover book I have read, and I love how much her writing style stands out to all the other authors. The two books I have read by her have covered deep real-life struggles and leaves an everlasting impression. ‘Ugly Love’ was no exception. It takes you complicated journey of grief and how it can compromise love. I thought it was a good book but not one I am dying to recommend to my friends. 6.5/10 *I purchased this book on the Kindle.
Book #2: ‘Every Summer After’ by Carley Fortune
I had seen a ton of people recommend this book and say how much they loved it. With that, I decided it should be my next read! I thought it was a cute and heart-felt storyline that kept you intrigued. 7/10 *I purchased this book on the Kindle.
Book #3: ‘Fix Her Up’ by Tessa Bailey
I love me a good Tessa Bailey book. I saw a highly rated trilogy by her in the ‘Recommend’ section and bought it to read on the long plane rides to Europe. I loved the storyline of this book and how different the characters were compared to the other romance novels I had read. How many main female characters have you seen that are a clown? I loved it! I really loved this book and would recommend it to friends. I am excited to read the other two in the series! 8/10 *I purchased this book on the Kindle.
